Changing Math
After watching Arthur Benjamin’s formula for changing math education I feel that he has made a very valid point. He talks about the pyramid to building mathematics up to statistics and NOT Calculus. This makes the most sense to me as Arthur talks about how statistics and probability are used in real life situations. I have to say we do a lot of this is fourth grade and it ties across the curriculum. He talks about how it can be fun and can include games. This is great to get our students engaged!

I watched this too and I hate math period! Wheterh it is high school math or math to 4th graders! :):) But I do agree with you and him that teaching stats makes more sense to the real world! I think 4th grade would be a great age to teach! Do you like it??? I just want to talk history!!!!!:):)
